A series of resources aimed at developing writing skills across key stages 3 and 4. The language paper lessons focus on skills required for questions 1, 2 and 3 of paper 1 and 5 of both AQA language papers 1 and 2 while 'The Road' creative writing lesson focuses on using a film title as stimulus. Additional resources for question 3 of paper 2 now included.

A range of resources for KS4 English Language Paper 1 covering all questions (10-12 lessons depending on pacing), a standalone creative writing lesson, resources for papers 1 and 2 for KS3 - creative writing and non-fiction as well as standalone literacy lessons focusing on developing cover letter writing skills and persuasive articles. The KS4 material would be suitable for mixed ability year 10 classes and the KS3 material would suit a higher ability year 7 or a mixed ability year 8 class.

Three resources focusing on literacy skills including CV writing, constructing a cover letter and writing a persuasive article. The CV Skills material is spread over three lessons. Originally used with a mixed ability year 9 group, this would also work well with higher ability year 8 class.

A range of resources for KS3 and KS4 consisting of a 12 lesson scheme for A Midsummer Night's Dream, a lesson on character analysis based on Shylock and lessons from Acts 1, 2 and 3 of Macbeth for KS4 along with an exam process and themes and context consolidation. The MND scheme is suitable for a higher ability year 7 group, the analysis of Shylock is suitable for a mixed ability year 9 class and the Macbeth material would be suitable for a mixed ability year 11 group.

A 15 lesson (17 including practice questions) bundle containing the poems ‘War Photgrapher’, ‘Blessing’, ‘La Belle Dame Sans Merci’, ‘Out-Out’, ‘Piano’, ‘The Tyger’, ‘Half-Caste’, ‘Half-Past Two’ , ‘My Last Duchess’, ‘Search For My Tongue’, ‘Prayer Before Birth’, 'and ‘If’. An exam process resource is also included with a tablemat resource and model answers within that. Suitable for a class just beginning the course and the majority of poems can be used to support an existing scheme or as standalone lessons

A 10 lesson poetry bundle that builds on and prepares students for the transition from Key Stage 3 into Key Stage 4. Poems include, ‘A Martian Sends a Postcard Home’, ‘Brothers’, ‘Mother Diving’, ‘Dulce et Decorum Est’, ‘Jabberwocky’, ‘Kamikaze’, ‘Harlem’, ‘Anthem for Doomed Youth’, ‘The Soldier’ and ‘Witches Recipe’ from Macbeth. Suitable for a higher ability year 9 class that require challenging and are familiar with most basic poetic devices.
